N isn’t for Nostalgia
A forward-looking Identity for a fashion brand with strong personality that explores the definition of what the art of knitting is today.
The letter N stands for Nanette. The mark retains the dynamic qualities typical for the art of knitting – balance between structure and movement, intricacy and freedom.
Knitted surfaces have different properties – density, coverage, elasticity – we used this visual language to communicate Nanette’s expertise.
Through the graphics, we present knitting as a constant creative process. Having set up the basic appearance of the brand, we experimented with its dynamic aspect, thus giving a form to the creative process.
