Take Away Souvenirs

Take Away are souvenir series created by artists and an alternative to the mass produced ones. We created their visual identity and accompanying materials.


We based the identity on the concept of transportation by following the meaning of the term Take Away. It basically describes the packaging of a product to be moved and consumed in a place different than the one it was bought from.


The logo uses the arrow to communicate “Take” which implies direction and the same arrow rotated to represent “Away” which is most often home.

Language of Transportation

Furthering the concept, we chose the cardboard box and its signage as a well-known symbol for transportation. By changing the pictograms’ meanings we created a visual story connected to the souvenirs.

Duct Tape

We used the duct tape as medium for the textual information in the same way it’s being commonly used on cardboard boxes.
